Colin Winnette, author of the forthcoming Fondly, a collection of two novellas, announced on his blog this week his preparations for a cross-country “I’m Yours” reading tour.

If you run a reading series, or if you have a friend who runs a reading series, or if you want to throw a house party, or if you want to rent out a bar, or if you own an amazing bookstore, or if you have a lot of friends who all ride the bus at the same time, and if you want me at any of these things, I’m Yours. Give me a date and a time and we’ll see what’s possible, is all I’m saying.

Winner of the Episode 47 of Literary Death Match, and a real stand out guy, Colin knows how to work a mic. Although he’s an award winning competitor, he’s glad to read as a team.

I’m a big fan of readings. Good readings, I mean. Bad readings are some of the worst and least comfortable things we subject ourselves to. But a good reading is a great thing, I think. I’ll be good at the readings. I’ll try to be great. I’ll bring friends when I can, and they’ll be great without even trying. My friends are really great.
