Curated by the Atticus Books staff, Hell Yeah! Worthy is a weekly Friday feature where our staff distills the plethora of scat on the internet into a succinct list of the best you haven’t seen, the best you ignored, and the best you should visit again.

Judging Books by Their Cover
There are some titles and covers that draw you in, either because they are dark, witty, or beautiful. Sometimes they are just ridiculous, like this list of books you “should definitely judge” by their covers. But really, I think How to Avoid Huge Ships, Second Edition could be useful…maybe… (Abby)

The Rules of the Game
“Rules” for writing circulate the web at a frequent clip. Everyone (published writers and unpublished writers) want to add their two cents on how to pen the perfect novel. Two of the recent best are Pixar’s 22 Rules to Create Appealing Stories (#5: Simplify. Focus. Combine characters. Hop over detours. You’ll feel like you’re losing valuable stuff but it sets you free) and Colson Whitehead’s 11 Rules for Writing (#11: There are no rules… just be yourself). Now stop wasting time on the Internet and write! (Lacey)

Vending Books
Vending machines are truly a brilliant phenomenon. Present in schools, office parks, gyms, pretty much anywhere you go, they act like miniature convenient stores, allowing you to get your snacks and go in just a matter of seconds. Now imagine a vending machine just as quick and efficient that pumps out books! The Espresso Book Machine has access to 500,000 books and can produce such epics as Crime and Punishment in only nine minutes. Forget about kindles, these are the bookstores of the future! (Lindsay)
